•  Jennifer Osborne (LTAC RN)…..Jenny exemplifies promise by being prompt, efficient, caring and humorous.  She is one of my favorites because she made me laugh, never sugar coated anything and I way happy when she was assigned to me.  She helped me pull through.  She treated me like a friend as opposed to work, and she completely empathized with me.  She is a Wonderful nurse.

•  Arsen Pogosyan (LTAC RN)….Arsen was never assigned to me but helped out when I had an LPN.  I enjoyed learning where he came from. He gave me a Bible when I was so sick.  His words were uplifting and I appreciated that.  This is how he demonstrated promise.

He gave me understanding and compassion.  He is a wonderful doctor and anyone under his care is very fortunate.

•  Bob Bensenberg (LTAC LPN)…..Bob exemplified promise by tending to me very quickly and by answering all my questions.  (there were many)  I only had Bob twice, but he is an excellent nurse.  I really did feel he was good to me the brief times he had me as a patient.

•  Pierre Lewis (Plant Ops Director)…..Pierre exemplified promise by checking up on me continually and making sure all of my needs were met.  He even gave me his card and told me to call his cell phone with any problems.  I utilized that option once, when I had been w/out pain meds for over an hour and a half.  He got on it and I had my meds in 10 minutes.  I appreciated that.  He said that he was my ambassador and he really was.  I thank him.

•  Rhiannon Lavorgna (LTAC CNA).....Exemplified PROMISE for not taking my misery, sickness, and griping seriously.  And not judging when I was at my worst.  I had a long journey of pain and sickness and frustration when I arrived at Vibra, and she was one of the first to take care of me.  Every time I had her, she was kind, professional, and did her job perfectly.  When I needed a shower or sheet change, she was there, and was prompt.  She’s a great CNA; she’s an asset to Vibra!

•  Melissa Armendariz (LTAC CNA)…..Exemplifies PROMISE by being quick and efficient upon her job.  Anytime I needed a shower, she was there in the most timely manner, helped wrap my picc line and abdominal drain, and can make a bed like no other.  Conversing with her about things other than hospital life really helped take my mind off of how sick, hungry, and miserable I was.  She also helped me with tips upon minor problems I’d encounter with my picc line and low blood pressure.  She really knows her stuff!  Compassionate, efficient, and quick.  She rocks!  And she’s an important asset to this hospital.

•  Teddy Mekuria (LTAC CNA)…..Exemplifies PROMISE by being super quick and efficient but lending words of encouragement, kindness, and also extended a hug when I thought I was at the end of my rope and felt like I could not longer go on.  I also enjoyed, and could get my mind off my misery, when he answered all my questions about life in Africa.  Teddy’s positive attitude is an asset to any sick and miserable and hungry patient!  (I was on TPN for a mont!).  Keep on being great, Teddy!

•  Kelsi Parker (LTAC CNA)…..Exemplified PROMISE by not only being super professional at her job, but being kind enough to hug me when I was a depressed, sick, nauseous, probably sweaty, blubbering, crying mess. And for someone to hug me when I was like that, helped immensely.  Anyone else, I’m sure, would have refrained.  She didn’t think twice.  She is definitely in the right profession!  Kelsi helps others feel better – that is a magnificent trait!

•  Rich Bradshaw (LTAC CNA)…..Exemplified PROMISE by extending utter kindness and help, when I was very ill and had to drink golightly.  I was very embarrassed and so sick, but Rich was there very quick for my every need, when I was trying to keep golightly drink down, and helped me with my constant vomiting and bedside commode.  His empathy and professionalism will never be forgotten by me, when I was at my worst.  But what sticks out the most was his kindness for someone whom was so sick and gross, and miserable.  Rich is awesome at what he does.  He treated me like a person, not merely a patient whom was treated dryly.  His bedside manner is admirable!  He is experienced and advanced!

•  Jackie Morton (LTAC RN)…..Exemplified PROMISE by tending to me in a timely manner, informing me of how to manage a beeping IV machine (silence button!), and really helped me take my mind off my misery by discussing organic food, gardening, and raising little boys, in which we had in common, all while being extremely professional, helpful, informative, and most importantly, kind.  I enjoyed every time she was my nurse, and I will miss her.  She is excellent at her profession!  She stands out, in my opinion, in her line of work.  I’ll never forget her!

•  Aimee Olson (LTAC RN)….Exemplified PROMISE by coming very quickly when I was in excruciating pain and miserable. •  Ken Kohistani (LTAC RN)…..Exemplified PROMISE by being efficient and timely.  Anything I needed, he was there.  And as an added bonus, he makes you laugh!  He is excellent at what he does, and as an extra double bonus, he’s handsome and smells good.  Ha, ha, and I know he’ll enjoy hearing that!  But seriously, he knows his stuff.  And he should be recognized for such.  P.S.  He answered all my questions upon life in Iran, which I found so cool.

•  Stephanie Jacobson (LTAC CNA)…..Exemplifies PROMISE by being quick to answer a call light, makes a mean bed!  And has a sense of humor that is very beneficial to a very sick person.  She has great jokes that always made me laugh, and she has rockin’ hair!  Seriously though, she is an excellent CNA.

•  Tracy Glover (LTAC RN)…..Exemplifies PROMISE by being a quick and kind nurse.  She empathized with my situation, and never left me hanging in my pain and sickness.  Even when she wasn’t assigned to me, and when I had an LPN who couldn’t give me morphine, she always came quickly, before my pain was excruciating.  I so appreciate that.  She is organized, advanced, and prompt.  I commend her work.

•  Dr. Masotti (Physician)…..Exemplified PROMISE by getting the ball rolling upon my treatment.  I was close to being here one month when I first had Dr. Masotti, and he got me two procedures in one week.  I really appreciated that, due to myself suffering for almost 2 months, and being hospitalized for a month.  And of course, he is my savior by allowing me to get off TPN and eat again!  Thank you eternally Dr. Masotti!!! Your professionalism and expertise will never be forgotten!

•  Dawn Schmitt (LTAC LPN)…..Exemplified PROMISE by always having a bright, cheerful demeanor.  I never heard her say anything of an unpleasant nature, not once.  Her cheery attitude is contagious and admirable.  She always made me happy after chatting with her.
